About Us

Ventura Hearing Center provides the full spectrum of Diagnostic and Rehabilitative Clinical Audiology services, including the prescribing, circuiting (programming) and fitting of Hearing Instruments toward the remediation of hearing impairment in adults and children of all ages. The Center is owned and operated by Donald Leamy, M.A., CCC-A, and his wife, Jeanne, the Center's administrator.

The Center utilizes state-of-the-art technologies in a homey, friendly environment where the emphasis is on individual, personalized care. Among our clients and the physicians and clinics who refer to us, we are known for honesty, integrity, friendliness, affordability, and compassionate, results-oriented care. Initial consultations are provided at no charge with absolutely no high-pressure "salesmanship." We are here to help.

We take great pride in avoiding the impersonal corporate approach of the large franchise chains of hearing aid outlets. Instead of employing a rotating staff of often inexperienced (non-audiologist) hearing aid salespersons, we offer Don, Jeanne, Claudia and Marie. We build strong friendships with our clients, who can always count on seeing the same familiar faces in the office. Our least tenured staff member has been with us since 1992.
